Non-profit organization
As a multinational company contributed to the sustainability, the Holcim Group has signed an agreement with several big international non-profit organizations, which can assist the realization of the principles of sustainable development in the industry. Holcim Hungária Zrt, besides co-operating with the Hungarian affiliates of these organizations, has initiated co-operation with several other Hungarian organizations that operate only in our country.
We work together for years and co-operate in the realization of sustainable development with KÖVET Association, World Wildlife Fund, Hungarian Business Leaders Forum, Swiss Chamber of Commerce, Hungarian Business Council for Sustainable Development, and the Hungarian Society for Quality.
Holcim Hungária Zrt. has signed the UN Global Compact that pushes the co-operation between the performers on the market, governments, NGOs, and the organizations of the UN on several different fields, like confinement of corruption. From 2007 we are member of Hungarian Donors Forum, and in 2008 we joined the Good CSR program to draw the attention on the importance of corporate social responsibility.

Educational institutions
Our company has close contact with several high schools and universities. Besides providing them financial support from innovation tax and vocational contribution we help the schools with professional advices, organizing site-visits.
In 2008 we worked together with the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, the Pannon University, the University of Miskolc, one of the vocational institutions of Borsod – Abaúj - Zemplén county and one from Komárom-Esztergom county and the Science University of Pécs.
University of Miskolc has acknowledged our financial and professional support with awarding us the title: Prominent Donor of the University.
