The cement is a hydraulic adhesive, a fine-grinded inorganic material, which mixed with water, composes a figurable mash, hydraulically hardens and congeals, and after this process it stays solid and its volume stays permanent under water. Its main raw-material is limestone, clay or marl, of which, after appropriate preparation, via burning at high temperature, portland-clinker is produced. By adding adsorption-controllers and grinding portland-clinker to the appropriate fineness, portland-cement is prepared. The portland-cement and other types of cement, produced by adding different adsorption-controllers form the family of cement products. Cements prepared in wide-range can be used on several fields of building industry to prepare concrete and other cement-based products to meet different demands. This is proved by the prefabricated building elements, binders, daubs and other products of which cement is an essential ingredient. In the cement plants of Holcim Hungária Zrt. cement is produced in accordance with the operative EU standards. To meet customers' demands we supply cement in bulk and – the favorite types of retail trade – packed in 25 kg and 50 kg paper bags. The load units of bag cement are wrapped in foil in favor of easier storing and safer shipment. |
